An unmarked French silver octagonal Lancet Case engraved as a prize to a Midwife, the body with the following inscription: 'Prime D'honneur 1865 Mme. LeCointe Sage -Femme A Vignacourt. The case contains four lancets and two bone spoons or spatulas. \n \nMme. Marie-Madeleine LeCointe was one of two midwives working in Vignacourt at the time.
