A George III engraved Sailor's or Prisoner's Token made from a silver coin, circa 1810. One side is engraved with an image of H.M.S. Hector above the title 'Hector 74.' The other side with the script initials: 'JD' above 'AM'. \nH.M.S Hector, a third rate ship of the line in the Royal Navy, was launched on 27th May 1774 and was equiped with 74 guns. The ship later saw service in the Egyptian campaign in 1801 but was converted for use as a prison ship in 1808 before being broken up in 1816. \nSold with an associated case. The medal later pierced for suspension. Condition: \n
