A pair of George III silver Wine Labels, engraved for 'Port' and 'Madeira', Birmingham 1816, by Matthew Linwood, each shaped with a blank cartouche above the title and edged with a band of bright-cut engraving with vine and grapes either side of the titles. Condition: \n \nGood. Crisp engraving. Made from light sheet silver. A slight circular mark on the reverse of one label where an owners' ticket has been removed. \n \nDimensions: \n \nLength - 5 cm.; Height [excluding chains] - 4 cm.; Weight [of the pair] - 15.10 gms.
