A pair of George III fiddle thread pattern scissor-type Serving Tongs, London 1812, by Eley, Fearn and Chawner. Engraved with a crest and coronet for the Earl of Poulett [4th Earl Poulett, 1756-1819]. \n \nScissor type Salad servers of this form are extremely unusual in English silver at this date.
