A Victorian novelty silver Table Lighter, formed as well-modelled seated Camel with saddle and harness, London 1876, by Barnard and Sons [Edward, John, Walter and John]: the silver camel is set on a base metal textured base. The wick unscrews to enable the body to be filled with spirit and the dipper is formed as the saddle pommel. \n \nThe camel is fully hallmarked on the body of the camel, the wick is part-marked and the dipper unmarked. Condition: \n
Good. A wooden block with rollers has been set into the base at a later date. The dipper is unmarked.
