A Victorian Tea Kettle after a Japanese form, Sheffield 1873, by Charles Flavell of Creswick & Co., with a design registration lozenge for 8th December 1873. The body also engraved with an inscription: ''Presented to the Honble. Charlotte Jane Kenyon by her friends and neighbours Hanmer January 13th 1876". \nHon Charlotte Jane Kenyon, the fifth daughter of 3rd Baron Kenyon of Hanmer, Flintshire, married on the 13th Jan 1876 the Rev. George Montagu Osborn, Rector of Campton, co. Bedford (b. 5 May 1843; d. 21 Nov 1910), 3rd son of Sir George Robert Osborn, 6th Bt. Details of the gift of the kettle and the marriage appeared in the Hanmer Parish Paper and in the Wrexham Advertiser of 15th January, which also has a long list of all the wedding presents.
